History
Consolidated Stills & Sterilizers was founded by William A. Barnstead in 1946. For over fifty years Consolidated has enjoyed a reputation for manufacturing excellence in the field of sterilization and distillation products. The office and factory are located in Boston, Massachusetts, a city rich with universities, hospitals and private enterprise leading the way in biotech and medical research. Today, Consolidated competes in a global marketplace, with products installed in over 60 countries throughout the world.

Consolidated Is Not the World's Largest Sterilizer Manufacturer

That's right. Consolidated is smaller than Steris™ (but larger than many other sterilizer manufacturers). And that's good! Because it means that Consolidated works smarter to win. And who benefits from these efforts? The customer! Consolidated has to provide better products, service, and prices. This is just evidence to prove that bigger is not necessarily better, at least for customers. Products are designed for ease of use and maintenance. Simplicity is one of the secrets to the success of Consolidated's products. A large percentage of the components used in the products are off-the-shelf items, available at local distributors. You do not have to buy spare parts from Consolidated. Most spare parts for the machinery are available to you locally. Consolidated does not shock customers with an enormous, after sale maintenance agreement. For installation and service, you may use your in house maintenance staff (training can be arranged) or one of the many independent service representatives.

Terms and Conditions

Prices are exclusive of any applicable State or Federal taxes or fees. If tax exempt then certificate must be presented with order.
Installation assumes all services are within 5 feet of the installation site.
Unless stated otherwise, utility connections for all equipment is to be others.
Not responsible for any floor or wall penetrations.
For any given section, prices are for all products within that section to be delivered with one shipment and installed at one time.
Pricing assumes free and clear access to equipments' final location.
Price assumes use of elevator (large enough for equipment), loading dock and contractor supplied fork lift. Rental of crane if required is not included.
Unless otherwise noted, payment terms are N/30.
Geneva Scientific reserves the right to invoice any and all material stored on or off site.
Quotations do not include bonds or permits.
Back Charges: Geneva Scientific will not accept back charges unless approved by our office.
Quotation is valid for a period of 60 days from the date of quotation; prices as quoted are firm for any product shipped within six (6) months of order date.
All submittals will be made per the specification and in a timely manner upon award of an order.

Warranty

Consolidated manufactures top-quality sterilizers and water stills that stand the tests of time. Consolidated takes pride in simplicity of design and our low prices. All of the sterilizers and water stills come with a 1-year warranty covering parts and labor for defective parts, as well as a 10-year warranty on the sterilizer chamber.
