One door opening 26.8” x 29.6 (67.9 cm x 75.2 cm) provides full access to the chamber interior. Clear 18” x 18” clear, plexiglass panel that has two 5”x14” access openings that are covered with hinged clear plexiglass panels. These openings prevent rapid air exchange when accessing the shelf. A magnetic gasket provides a tight seal to door frame.
Two 15 watt bulbs to provide interior lighting.
4.4 ft3 (0.12 m3) with a work area 2.8 ft2 (.26 m2) provided on a single shelf.
One shelf of polyester coated steel wire shelving. Each shelf is 15.3” D x 26.5” W (38.8 cm x 67.3 cm). Shelves are supported by shelf clips which allows 1/2” vertical adjustments. The maximum clearance between shelves is 12” (30.5 cm) per tier with all two shelves installed.
1/5 h.p. self-contained air-cooled condensing unit with hot gas bypass system for continuous compressor operation, extended life and close temperature control. This continuous running condensing unit ensures precise temperature control by alternately cycling refrigerant and hot gas to the coil; this also prolongs the life of the compressor, and eliminates the risk of ice build up in the coil. Solenoid valves have an extended stem for quiet and long life operation. Evaporator coil is mounted on the rear chamber wall, and incorporates an air circulation fan. Heat rejection to ambient (standard chamber) =3700 BTU/hr.
2° - 44° C (± 0.5° C).
Operating conditions within the drying chamber are maintained by conditioned air. Airflow over the shelf area is controlled by two infinitely variable speed fans moving approximately 400 cfm with speeds adjustable from 0 to 100%.
A small blower is provided to draw air out of the chamber. This discharged air, which is manually variable from 4 to 7 cfm, leaves the blower through a 1.5” duct adapter that can be connected to an exhaust system.
Humidity control from the following ranges: 28% to 75% (+/- 5% at 28° C
with 4 cfm air exhaust 25° C/50% r.h. ambient, 39% at 21° C with 4 cfm air exhaust & 25° C/65% r.h. ambient. Humidity provided via pan type humidifier, reservoir and chamber floor drain provided. Demineralized water
supply recommended
One 115/1/60 convenience receptacle provided inside chamber.
115/1/60 - Power cord and grounded plug provided.
