Dual-Use Low-Light Plant Growth with Shelf-Level Airflow Control
The AR-36L2 is a research-grade growth chamber designed for Arabidopsis thaliana, tobacco, and other low-light plant species, while also supporting plant tissue culture on plates, dishes, or flasks. Its specialized vertical airflow system ensures uniform environmental conditions across shelves, protecting sensitive experiments from heat generated by underlying lights. This dual-use design allows laboratories to efficiently conduct both whole-plant and tissue culture research in a single footprint.
Features
Shelf-Level Airflow Optimization
Air from the rear wall duct is delivered upward through fixed diffusers at the bottom of each shelf. This gentle vertical airflow protects experiments from light fixture heat while maintaining uniform temperature and humidity conditions.
Customizable LED Lighting
SciWhite™ LEDs enhanced with red spectrum tiles deliver up to 350 µmol m²/s at 6″, dimmable from 10–100% in 1% increments, creating ideal low-light conditions for Arabidopsis, tobacco, and other small plants.
IntellusUltra™ Control System
Program and monitor temperature, light, humidity, and optional CO₂ enrichment with Percival’s advanced IntellusUltra™ Controller. Includes alarm logging, graphical performance display, and multiple program modes.
Experiment Protection
Dual high and low temperature safety limits with audible and visual alarms automatically shut down the chamber in the event of out-of-range conditions, then reset when parameters normalize.
