The PGC‑40L2 is designed for vascular plant research, seedling germination, and standard plant production, providing two tiers of high-intensity, programmable LED lighting and precise environmental control. Ideal for plant pathology studies, developmental biology, and controlled growth experiments.

  • IntellusUltra® Controller: Android-based touchscreen for 24/7 real-time monitoring of temperature, lighting, humidity, and optional CO₂ enrichment. Features step/ramp programming, deviation alarms, dual experiment protection, and event logging.

  • Lighting System: Two tiers of SciWhite LEDs enhanced with Red, intensity programmable up to 1,200 μmoles/m²/s at 6″, dimmable 10–100% for maximum growth efficiency.

  • Airflow & Circulation: Uniform air movement across each shelf via rear-wall diffusers; air returns to ceiling fans through a gap between the light fixture and door, ensuring even temperature and humidity distribution.

  • Shelving: Two tiers of epoxy-coated steel wire shelving, each 27″D × 28.8″W, with maximum growing height of 32.7″.

  • Refrigeration & Temperature Control: Self-contained water-cooled condensing unit with hot gas bypass ensures precise temperature control, extended compressor life, and no ice buildup. Optional air-cooled condensing units available for outdoor applications.

  • Experiment Protection: Adjustable high/low temperature limits, audible and visual alarms, and automatic reset to safeguard experiments.

  • Durable Construction: Interior 24-gauge steel, exterior 24-gauge Galvannealed steel, stainless steel floor, NSF-compliant seams, floor drain with hose, casters, and leveling legs.
