All of our BSCs use ULPA filters to treat exhaust air. ULPA filters are tested to typical efficiencies of >99.999% for particles 0.1–0.3 microns, providing superior filtration compared to conventional HEPA filters, which typically capture >99.99% of 0.3-micron particles. This ensures maximum containment and safety for both personnel and samples.
