Precision Low-Temperature Research with Full Shelf Visibility

The LT‑36VL is engineered for low-temperature studies under full lighting without defrost-related spikes. Designed for cold hardiness, freeze tolerance, heat stress, and seasonal simulation experiments, it features externally mounted LEDs behind heated glass side walls, allowing full shelf visibility while eliminating condensation and minimizing disturbances to ongoing experiments.

Features

IntellusUltra® Controller: Android-based touchscreen enables 24/7 monitoring and control of temperature, lighting, humidity, and CO₂ (optional). Offers step/ramp programming, deviation alarms, and full experiment logging.

Lighting System: Two externally mounted SciWhite LED lamp banks enhanced with red light, separated from the growth space by glass. Intensity programmable up to 515 μmoles/m²/s at 6″, dimmable 10–100%. Lamp banks swing like doors for easy maintenance.

Glass Side Walls: Evenly heated to prevent condensation while providing clear viewing of experiments.

Airflow & Circulation: Uniform, natural upward airflow across shelves.

Refrigeration & Defrost: Dual-coil system with hot gas bypass ensures constant low temperatures even under full lighting, avoiding spikes during defrost cycles. Optional water-cooled or outdoor air-cooled condensing units available.

Experiment Protection: Adjustable high/low temperature limits with audible and visual alarms; automatic reset when conditions normalize.

Durable Construction: Interior of 22-gauge electro-zinc steel, exterior 18-gauge steel, polished stainless-steel floor with drain. Casters and leveling legs included.
