Precision Low-Temperature Research with Full Shelf Visibility
The LT‑41VL is designed for studies that require low-temperature control under full lighting without defrost-induced spikes. Ideal for cold hardiness, freeze tolerance, heat stress testing, and seasonal simulation experiments, this chamber features externally mounted LEDs behind heated glass side walls, providing full visibility of each shelf while eliminating condensation and avoiding disturbances to ongoing experiments.
Features
IntellusUltra® Controller: Android-based touchscreen enables 24/7 monitoring and control of temperature, lighting, humidity, and CO₂ (optional). Offers step/ramp programming, deviation alarms, and full experiment logging.
Lighting System: Two externally mounted SciWhite LED lamp banks, enhanced with red, programmable up to 515 μmoles/m²/s at 6″, dimmable 10–100%. Lamp banks swing like doors for maintenance without disrupting experiments.
Glass Side Walls: Evenly heated to eliminate condensation and allow unobstructed viewing of plants.
Airflow & Circulation: Uniform, natural upward airflow across shelves.
Refrigeration & Defrost: Dual-coil system with hot gas bypass ensures constant low temperature even under full lighting, avoiding spikes during defrost cycles. Optional water-cooled or outdoor air-cooled condensing units available.
Experiment Protection: Adjustable high/low temperature limits with audible and visual alarms; automatic reset when conditions return to normal.
Durable Construction: Interior of 22-gauge electro-zinc steel, exterior 18-gauge steel, polished stainless-steel floor with drain. Casters and leveling legs included.
