Instructional & Teaching Laboratory Fume Hood
The Solution Work Station (SWS) is a bench-mounted, ducted fume hood designed specifically for teaching and demonstration laboratories. Its defining feature is 360-degree visibility, allowing students and observers to clearly view experiments while maintaining proper containment.
Constructed with 7/32″ clear laminated safety glass side panels, the SWS protects users and bystanders without obstructing sightlines. Integrated LED lighting ensures excellent interior illumination for demonstrations and hands-on learning.
Designed for Safety & Flexibility
The Solution Work Station supports back-to-back and side-by-side installations, making it ideal for flexible lab layouts in undergraduate and instructional settings. Multiple size options allow instructors and planners to tailor the hood to space and curriculum needs.
Front-loaded service valves keep utilities within arm’s reach while allowing the user’s head to remain outside the sash—supporting safer operating practices.

The Solution Ducted Hood is a conventional laboratory fume hood designed for a wide range of chemical handling and research applications. Its streamlined posts and radiused airfoil create a clean, modern appearance while maintaining reliable airflow performance.
A 36″ high viewing area provides excellent visibility into the work zone, and the hood is suitable for both constant volume (CV) and variable air volume (VAV) laboratory ventilation systems.
